:: Brrrrrr….. It’s cold ::

:: Winter Boots ::

Brrrrrr isn’t it cold out? I dont know about you but I really feel the cold so for me it is definitely time to start wearing those winter boots.  It looks like many others have also joined me because during my commute to work I’m seeing more and more people have switched from their pumps and heels to boots.

There are loads of great boots in the shops this year and I could easily spend a fortune buying numerous pairs. Before you buy any I would really reccommend you shop around because I noticed some really great high street brands are mirroring the designer brands so you don’t have to necessarily  spend a lot to get the look you want.

On to the two pairs of boots I recently purchased…

The first pair my boyfriend actually bought me for my birthday a few weeks ago and I love them!

They are from Dune in Selfridges in London (I expect all the Dune stores will sell them, their website definitely does: Dune website ) and are priced at £99. These boots have gorgeous detail and two buckles on the outer side and a zip on the inner.

I can honestly say these boots are extremely comfortable. I’ve worn then quite a few times already and I’ve been able to easily wear them all day without getting any blisters or sore spots on my feet. The fit is also perfect.

Every time I’ve worn these boots people have commented on how lovely they are and I totally agree, I’m going to wear them a LOT.

The second pair of boots I purchased in the past few weeks are also from Dune in Selfridges, but this time are knee high.

These boots are priced at £180 and words can’t describe how soft the leather is… It’s like silk! I love the look of these boots as they are different from any I have had before. In the past I’ve always gone for tighter fitting ones around my legs but these are looser around the ankle area so they give that relaxed baggy look which Is very flattering.  I especially like wearing these boots with short dresses and skirts… I just love that look!

I don’t find these boots as comfortable as my ankle boots and after a few hours the balls of my feet do feel a little sore but not so bad that I wouldn’t want to wear them.

What boots have you purchased this winter?

    I love these both! They are cute, but also really basic and can go with anything. You can check out my most recent boots I got here:

    I honestly more like the style of the first pair. Second pair in my opinion is for the much colder winter. How do you feeling about Timberlands? My girlfriend is really a fun of them, at least they are cheaper than Martins, right?) If talking about me personally, I’m more about “less black” in shoes, I know it’s more rational but I can stand this millions of people walking on their black tips, like some kind of burnout matches. Also I recently did a review of thesishelp.net you can check it out it’s fun.
