:: Burt’s Bees Lip Balm ::
Over the past few weeks I have noticed that my lips have been getting really dry. I’m not sure what the cause is as I have never had this problem before but it has urged me to invest in a hydrating lip balm.
The one I chose is Burt’s Bees Beeswax lip balm with pomegranate oil. I was drawn to this particular product because of the natural ingredients. This product s a gorgeous deep red/pink colour but on the lips is is completely clear. It’s consistency is nice and you are able to apply a thin layer so it does not feel heavy on your lips. Be careful not to get too carried away and apply too much at a time, though.
I wasn’t too sure about the scent of this lip balm at first but it has grown on me, it also tastes pretty nice. There are other versions of this product available too, such as natural, pink blossom and acai berry so if you’re not keen on the sound of pomegranate there other options to try.
I read a few reviews before buying this lip balm and they were very mixed. This is either a love it or hate it product. After six weeks of trying this lip balm I have found that my lips definitely haven’t got any worse. Some days they are still a little dry but the majority of the time they have felt much smoother. I do, however, apply it several times a day.
Top Tip: if your lips are dry apply some lip balm before your lipstick, this will help them from drying out more and will make the lipstick look smooth.
This lip balm is available from Boots for £3.69.
