:: Oyster Pink Nails ::
The only No 7 Nail Polish I have is no 120 Oyster (no 14 on the Boots website priced at £5.50) from the Stay Perfect range. As this colour is so beautiful I wondered why I hadn’t worn it for so long so I gave it a go…
The colour of this varnish is gorgeous. It’s a natural/nude/shimmery pink colour (unfortunately the pink isn’t showing up much on the photo’s… this polish has much more of a pink tone to it than a brown). I love neutral colours like this because they go with so many outfits. It means you don’t have to worry about your nails clashing or specifically choosing an outfit that will go with your polish every day.
The consistency of this polish is nice, not too thick or thin. It is also quick drying and has a glossy finish.
In the evening I applied base cost, two layers of the oyster pink and top coat but unfortunately, by the end of the next day most of my nails were chipped. This reminded me why I hadn’t worn this polish for some time!
It’s such a shame this nail varnish chips so easily as I really love the colour, I won’t be using it again. I hate filling in the gaps where there are chips because it never looks right and I’m also not a fan of having the strip your nails everyday and reapplying.
I haven’t tried any other No7 varnishes so I don’t know if this issue applies to all of them.
Has anyone else tried these polishes?
