:: Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss Stick 3D Super Colour Volume Lip ::
Today’s review is on Soap and Glory’s Sexy Mother Pucker gloss stick. There are three different colours in the range, Plum Jam (red) Nudist (nude) and Fushia-Ristic (orangey colour in the tube but I expect it comes out differently on the lips).
The gloss stick I have from this range is Plum Jam so that’s the one I will be speaking more about today.
Lets start with the packaging. These gloss sticks come in black tubes which you can wind up to get more product. This makes them quick and easy to use. They are a little wider than other lip balms/glosses on the market but they aren’t too chunky so they should slip into your makeup bag pretty easily. The packaging actually makes me think of mascara more than lip gloss stick.
The product is already formulated into a point for more precise application so it’s easy to apply your lips with the balm without going outside the lines of the lips. The product itself is a really nice consistency. It isn’t thick or sticky at all and it feels really nice on the lips. It is also really glossy so your lips have a lovely shine to them. This makes this product more of a lip balm/gloss combo.
As for the colour… The colour of plum jam is gorgeous. On first application the balm goes on pretty sheer but you can definitely see some colour. You can them build in this this adding more of the product to create a more intense colour which makes this lip gloss stick pretty versatile.
This gloss stick isn’t particularly long wearing but its easy application means it isn’t a chore to re-apply, you can even do it without a mirror if your brave enough because of the initial sheer consistency.
I’ve worn this product almost everyday since I bought it and I really love it! I would definitely buy it again, although I’m not too sure if I would purchase any other colours in the range, I don’t think they would suit me very well.
This product is available at Boots for £6.
Has anyone else tried these gorgeous Soap and Glory lip gloss sticks?
