Today I will be talking about the Original Tangle Teezer, which is a product I put off buying for a while because I consider the price tag to be pretty big for such a small brush with no handle but I took the plunge and here are my thoughts…
The Tangle Teezer I have is purple with flecks of glitter throughout which is a really simple yet pretty design. The brush doesn’t have a handle which I thought would be a bit annoying and uncomfortable to hold but the plastic is moulded perfectly to the shape of your hand so it’s actually really nice to use. It is ergonomically designed for a palm friendly non-slip fit. A small downside I find is that the bristles are quite pointed so they make my hands a little sore when removing the hair so I find this a much more tedious task with the Tangle Tweezer than a normal paddle brush.
I have long, curly, fine hair which is particularly prone to getting tangles and knots after I have washed or slept on it. The Tangle Teezer is good at getting rid of the tangles completely pain free on wet and dry hair and it is easier to get through tangles than your average hairbrush. I have found it is best to work from the bottom of your hair slowly up towards the roots and gradually all the tangles are gone. However, I think people with very thick hair may struggle to use this unless they split their hair into sections.
I keep reaching for my Tangle Teezer and I really like it. It is super relaxing to use on your scalp as it feels massaging, plus de-tangles and has the novelty of not having a handle. The Original Tangle Teezer is available from Boots for £10.99 and is available in a range of colours as well as compact sizes (these are slightly more expensive).
Have you got a Tangle Teezer? What do you think of it?

I have the exact same one and love it! All anyone has to do is use the tangle teezer first and then try a regular brush to notice the difference lol, xoxo.
i don't like tangle teezer, don't work for me .. i have very long thick hair, not work at all…my daughter don't like to so ..
I really have to try it out, my hair used to be very curly being half senegalese, I've got them relaxed a few month ago but still, they're very thin and get tangled up so, so easily, I've heard a lot about this brush but it's not sold yet in France I believe, I might have to buy it next time I go to London ! Anyway, great review, and I love the colour of yours everyone seems to have the pink one !
