Barry M Gelly Nail Paint Review

Barry M Gelly Nail Paint

Hello Beauty Lovers!

Any regular readers of my blog will know that I love Barry M polishes so I was super excited when they brought out their high shine gelly range.

Some of the gorgeous colours available include these beauties that I picked up:

Grapefruit – This is a lovely bright barbie pink with a slight coral undertone, great to wear in Summer.

Greenberry – This is a blue aqua marine colour which is perfect for spring. It is such a fresh, bright colour to wear.

Pomegranet – A deep pink with red undertones makes this a colour

There are 13 shades in total and the others include: Papaya (Pale-Med orange), Dragon Fruit (Pale Pink), Lychee (Nude), Satsuma (Bright Orange), Prikly Pear (Lilac), Blueberry (Light blue), Blood Orange (Deep orange), Watermelon (Dark Green/Blue), Blackberry (Navy) and Plum (Purple).

The formulation of the polish is similar to those in the standard Barry M range and leaves a flawless finish on your nails after two coats (one can leave it streaky depending on the colour).  The finish is beautiful and it isn’t too thick or thin on your nails meaning it is durable.  I wore this polish without base or top coat (naughty, naughty) chip free for around 4 days which is very impressive.

These polishes dried fully within a few minutes so you don’t have to wait around for too long and they leave a very high shine on your nails which is comparable to the gel nails you can get done at a salon.

As for the packaging… it’s the same as any of the Barry M polishes with the exception of the lid being silver.  I find the packaging great because they are a really nice shape so do not take up too much storage space and they look sleek and expensive. The brush is also a good size (narrow) which makes application easy and mess free.

I love that these colours are super pigmented and give you nails a very high gloss appearance, something which I look for in a polish.

Here’s a look at how Greenberry looks once applied:

These nail paints are available at Superdrug for £3.99.

Have you tried these lovely polishes yet? If so, what did you think?
