Today’s post is a short and sweet review of Essie’s Bahama Mama nail polish.
I love the sleek packaging of these polishes, there’s just something about them which draws you in when they are displayed in their crisp, white stand in stores. Their slim like design and square shape also means they are easy to store but unfortunately do not fit in my Muji drawers *sob*.
The colour of Bahama Mama is a deep berry, plum wine which is gorgeous! To me this colour shouts Autumn but I love it so much I wear it all year round. The formulation of this polish isn’t too thick or thin and after two coats you are left with flawless nails. The brush is also the perfect size for precise application. As for drying time, it is reasonably quick so it is perfect for people like me who don’t like to wait around for ages while your nails dry. Why is it that as soon as you paint them there’s suddenly loads of things you need to do?
I’m a big fan of Essie polishes but the quality seems to vary strangely with the colour. This particular one is good and when applied with both base and top coat it lasts around a week without chipping.
What do you think of Essie polishes?
