How are you all?
The product we will be looking at today is a baked eyeshadow called ‘Couture’ by Fashionista. This pretty eyeshadow is a shimmery pink with gold undertones when applied but in the pan the pink is broken up by gold, brown and white strips. It also has some very small, sparse flecks of gold glitter. This eyeshadow is so pretty to look at is it almost disappointing to use it because as soon as you swatch it the stripes pretty much disappear and it just turns into a pink shadow.
This eyeshadow is very well pigmented, blendable and very easy to build up. In fact, I think it is better to use more of this eyeshadow rather than less because if you use to little it does blend away into nothing. The complete opposite is true, though if you use a good amount, it gives you lovely even coverage and is nice to use both on your eye lid or crease.
Although the packaging is pretty basic and isn’t really anything special if you look a little closer you realise that you can pop out each eyshadow and actually build your own palette (I’ve seen a four pan available for £5.00 in two different colours). I love that these eyeshadow’s are so versatile and the palette is build in such a way that you can easily see the shade name too. I will definitely be putting one of these together so keep your eyes peeled for a blog post!
Overall, I’m really impressed with this eyeshadow I think it’s a really bargain at on £4.00 at Superdrug. I would love to try some more products by Fashionista.
