Sorry for the lack of posts over the last couple of days, it has been crazy busy but things are back to normal now so expect regular updates from me 🙂
So, today’s review is on Soap and Glory’s The Righteous Butter. Regular readers of my blog will know that I really love S&P products and this is the first one I ever bought so I have been using it for quite some time now.
The Righteous Butter is available in three different sizes so there is one to suit everyone:
Travel Size (50ml)
Normal Size (300ml)
HUGE Size (1L) – yes, you read that correctly! 1L of product!
The packaging of each of these are all really cute and sport the typical pink colour scheme and S&P branding stickers. The tub works well although I do prefer pumps/squeezy tubes.
The best time to use this product is after showering or bathing. The S&P website says to smooth a generous handful of The Righteous Butter onto damp skin, however, I personally don’t find it is necessary to use lots of product. A little goes a long way and the butter sinks into your skin much quicker and it lasts longer if you use it more sparingly.
As for the product itself? This award winning butter is scented with the Original Pink™ fragrance which is heavenly and I could easily smell it all day every day! The aroma is hard to describe but it definitely contains fresh floral notes with a hint of vanilla which lingers on your skin long after you have applied it. It smells light, fresh and feminine and reminds me of Spring and Summer… it is just divine!
The butter is your typical consistency – thick, creamy and white but unlike some other brands I have tried, it isn’t greasy or sticky. After using this product I find my skin is left smooth and moisturised which is due to the nourishing properties of the ingredients which include shea butter and aloe vera.
I really like this product and I enjoy using it. If you want to give it a try it is available from the Soap and Glory Website or Boots and a guide on prices can be found below:
Travel Size (50ml) – £2.50
Normal Size (300ml) – £10.50
HUGE Size (1L) – £25.00
Have you tried The Righteous Butter? If so, did you like it? What is your favourite body moisturiser?
