As we are now in Autumn I have been looking at some new makeup looks to match the new season.  One blush in my collection which jumped out by a mile is Sin by Nars.

This beautiful pink/purple berry blush has a subtle gold shimmer and goes perfectly with plum, burgundy or my favourite, berry shades of lipstick.  Like all Nars products, the quality is extremely high and this blush is very pigmented meaning you need very little to achieve the required look.  This is great because it means it will last much longer, however, you do need to apply with caution as you don’t want to end up with a heavier makeup look than expected.

The formulation of Sin is soft and creamy so it is very easy to work with and blend.  It gives a gorgeous hint of colour on the cheeks which is a refreshing change to your typical pink and suits the season well.  I’m really looking forward to using this blush a lot more in the coming weeks.

I’ve mentioned Nars packaging several time before but for those of you who are new to Nars I will give a brief explanation.  The packaging for all Nars ranges is consistent and has a luxurious feel due to the soft, rubbery texture of their compacts.  They are different from any other packaging on the market from what I have seen and I love that they are so slimline.  They aren’t bulky at all and are brilliant for storing in Muji drawers as you can even double them up if you like.  The name of the products is clear on the back of the palette and the compact also has a mirror which is a great size.  I am always forgetting my handbag/makeup mirror so I’m always making use of the Nars ones!

You can buy Sin blush from the Nars website for £21.50.

What do you think of this blush?
