Sleek Life's a Peach Blusher

Sleek is a brilliant high street brand and definitely one of my favourites when it comes to blusher.  I’ll admit it now.. I’m a little obsessed with blusher at the moment.. I just can’t get enough of it.  It’s one of those products which can completely change a makeup look and adds a lovely pop of colour, giving your face a nice radiant glow so it is easy to build up quite a collection.

I’m not usually a fan of peach blush and in the past have always been drawn to pink shades but a few months ago a lot of reviews about peach shades seemed to be popping up which inspired me to give one a try.  Sleek was the obvious choice as you can guarantee a good quality, reasonably priced product although when I spotted Life’s a Peach it did look like a scary shade.  It is extremely orange and having used Sleek blushers in the past and knowing how pigmented they are I wasn’t too sure if this was the shade for me.

Despite this, I decided to take the plunge and try it.  I’ve had Life’s A Peach for a while now and admittedly it isn’t my ‘go to’ blush (I still stick to my pink shades more) but when I do wear it I like it.  The shade is pigmented but not so much that you end up looking like a clown when you apply it and the creamy soft formulation of the powder blends extremely well.  Peach is also a very natural shade to wear and I like that it gives me a subtle hint of colour on my cheeks which isn’t overpowering.

Life’s a Peach has a gorgeous, silky, matte finish and is available at Superdrug for £4.49 which is brilliant value for money.

I love this blush it's one of my favourites 🙂 I havent worn it as often since I bought Peaches by Mac as the two are almost identical, but love that it's matte which seems to be so hard to find with highstreet blushes. Loved your review Kimberley! xx

I think I must have most of the Sleek blushes now as I absolutely adore them. Sleek is actually my favourite high street or “drugstore” brand full stop. I have just bought their new blush in “Antique rose” and it is gorgeous (err along with the new Vintage Romance i-Devine eyeshadow pallete which is a stunner too. Nothing about the whole line disappoints me at all. Never had a chalky product or dud pigmentation from them.

When I want to splurge on blush, it is Illamasqua or nothing!
