Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray Review

Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray

Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray

I’ve mentioned many times in the past that I have fine hair but a lot of it so I am always on the look out to try new volumising or thickening products.  Bumble and Bumble is a brand that has always intrigued me but due to the high prices I was put off purchasing anything.  However, luckily a few months ago this product appeared on Elle magazine so I jumped at the chance to try it!

The Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray is perfect for any hair type and aims to add volume to your hair (not set it in place like the name ‘hairspray’ suggests).  I spray a little on my roots after my hair has been towel dried for a while and a little through the length of my hair too as I like to add volume all over.  The design of the bottle allows a light, fine mist to be distributed so you can get even coverage and I simply blow dry and style my hair as normal.  The results are amazing!  After drying my hair volume has been added all over and whether I leave it, straighten or curl it the volume remains nicely in place.. even the following day! It also adds a subtle amount of texture too, which is nice. The Bumble and Bumble Thickening Spray is now one of my ‘go to’ products in my hair routine and I’m so glad to have finally been able to try it.

I really like this product and it’s a shame it has such a high price tag.  It leaves me not being 100% sure if I will repurchase it.  I guess it’s a case of waiting until all of this bottle is used up and see how much I miss it!

The 250ml bottle of Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray can be purchased from Boots for £21.50.

I got this with Elle and I was put off by the price tag too.
I do like it but don't think I like it enough to pay £21.50!

It is pretty spendy – I probably wont try it because the I love the John Frieda and for only $6 you can't go wrong!

I did a review of this not so long ago and said pretty much the exact same thing as you, I love it… apart from the price!
I do really like it, but don't know if I adore it enough to want to spend the money on it each time (though I have a feeling I will as I use mine all the time lol).
    Great review!
