You guessed it, it’s that time of the month again already! Here are the products have been enjoying during the month of October.
MAC Rebel Lipstick
MAC Rebel is the perfect lipstick for Autumn as it is a gorgeous mixture of pink, red and purple berry tones. It suits my skin tone really well and is one of my favourite all time lipsticks. I find this colour a little too dark to wear during the day but when I’m going out in the evening this is definitely my go to colour for the Autumn and Winter months. The formulation is a creamsheen so is soft, creamy and moisturising on the lips. It is also pretty long lasting too. Read about my favourite Autumn lip products here.
Clynol Wonder 10 Hair Treatment
This hair treatment claims to benefit your hair in 10 different ways and is a product which made it’s way into my hair care routine after only one use. It leaves my hair looking healthy, shiny, soft and smooth and I love it. Read the review here.
Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation
My all time favourite foundation is Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua but as it is expensive I try not to use it every day. My replacement for the days I haven’t been using it has been the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation every time. The coverage is light-medium so a little heavier than I would like but it applies well, is long lasting and smells lovely. At the moment this is my favourite drug store foundation. I have a few primers in my collection but the one I keep picking up this month is definitely the Smashbox Primer. It is a soft, clear gel which glides over the skin very easily providing a base before applying your foundation. I find my make-up applies well when using this primer and lasts a good amount of time when also teamed with a setting spray. I also like that you get 30ml of product and as I only use a pea size each day it lasts a good amount of time, something which is important as it isn’t the cheapest of products. Read the review here.
Clinique High Impact Mascara
After having a skin consultation at Clinique last month I was kindly given a sample of the High Impact Mascara to try and I’ve used it every day since. The brush is full and the perfect size so you can easily apply mascara to all your lashes, it doesn’t smudge and it adds volume and length to my lashes. I love it! Full review coming soon!
*Urban Charm Bracelet
I have been wearing this beautiful white, wrap around bracelet by Urban Charm a lot this month. It’s gorgeous and goes with a variety of outfits whether they be for day or night. The plaited leather look bracelet is soft so it is comfortable to wear and the heart charm is adorable. Full review coming soon! I have been wearing my hair in a bun a lot this month and I’ve noticed a lot of other people have too. I go for a simple messy wrap around bun as I like the look of those the best. I’m not particularly fond of the perfect buns where everything is tucked in.. I like something that is a little more edgy but not so messy that it isn’t suitable for work. You can achieve a messy bun without the use of a bun ring but you can’t get the wrap around style and I actually find this quicker to do as without the use of a bun ring I tend to play around with my hair for ages until I get the look I want.
