So, today we’re going talk a little about the REN Clarifying Toning Lotion. Toners are useful as they help remove dead skin cells with a mixture of gentle acids and also make sure all of the makeup, dirt and grime on your skin is removed.
I have sensitive skin so I was looking for a toner which is strong enough to achieve the above without causing my skin any irritation. I also needed a product that I could use twice a day (morning and night). I’ve used other REN products in the past including their Cleansing Balm and Face Mask and loved them so REN seemed like the perfect brand to try.
The REN toner is a great all round product. It looks to unclog pores, balance the skin, prevent breakouts, tone and minimise sebum production. I apply the REN Clarifying Toning Lotion using a cotton pad, You only need a little and you simply wipe the tonic all over your face and neck being careful not to get any in your eyes. Even after using a cleansing balm you will be surprised by the amount of grime and makeup which is removed but after using this toner my face feels fresh and clean. Within a couple of days I noticed my complexion looked clearer, fresher and more radiant as well as soft and smooth.
The packaging of REN products really appeal to me. They are simple and no fuss but still look great on the shelf. I find the REN Clarifying Toning Lotion to be gentle on my skin but still achieve the results I want and it is definitely now a staple product in my skin care routine. Using this product twice daily does mean it gets used up quite quickly and priced at £18.00 it’s not cheap, however, I will repurchase it as my skin works well with it and ideally I don’t like to introduce too many products from different brands into my skin care routine if I can help it. You can buy this toner from Marks and Spencer.

This sounds nice! I also have sensitive skin that's oily too, so it can be tough to find products that are effective without irritating. REN really is a great brand! My current toner is Thayer's alcohol-free witch hazel toner. It's fab! xo
