I was recently lucky enough to attend a bloggers meet up at Rush House of Hair in London which was arranged by the lovely Becky at Lipgloss and Lashes and Laura. I had heard of Rush before but had never been to any of their salons so I was looking forward to getting a chance to see one, especially House of Hair as it looked amazing from the photographs on their website.
The evening begun by meeting up with my friends Lisa and Sarah after work and heading for a bite to eat and catch up before making our way to Piccadilly. Unfortunately, when we arrived it was pouring down with rain which isn’t ideal but the walk wasn’t too far from the tube so we got there without sporting too much of the
Rush House of Hair is a gorgeous salon. It feels very luxurious and the layout and décor is great. It is split over two levels, the lower a reception and nail area, and the upper the hair salon and treatment rooms. It proves how looks can be deceiving because from the outside it doesn’t look very big but as soon as you go upstairs it opens up. There was also a huge assortment of hair products from a wide number of brands we could swoon over.
Whilst at the event we were able to experience some of the treatments such as an OPI or Essie manicure, a oxygen facial which was unusual but refreshing and also a lip treatment that acted like a facial but for your lips. Throughout the evening there were also Botox demonstrations in one of the treatment rooms.
It was lovely too see some familiar faces as well as get to know some new bloggers too at this event. I really enjoyed the night and the venue was amazing. I would love to go back to Rush House of Hair and get my nails done again or a hair cut. A big thank you to Becky and Laura for arranging it 🙂
