Lush Snow Fairy Review

Lush Snow Fairy

Snow Fairy is a limited edition shower gel available at Lush only around the Christmas period.  It is extremely popular, in fact the Number 1 best seller for Lush at Christmas and a product I have heard about a lot over the years but not one I tried until recently.

Lush are well known for their pretty handmade products and Snow Fairy is no exception.  This shower gel is full of animal friendly ingredients which make up the spectacular and girly bumble gum pink shade which shouts out from the shelf to be bought.  A splash of fairy dust by the means of a pretty glitter also runs throughout this product making it even more appealing and magical to the eye.

The formulation of Snow Fairy is thick, creamy and luxurious so it lathers very well.  It is also concentrated so you use less than you would expect which is great because the product lasts longer.  Snow Fairy is also packed full of essential oils which leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturised after use and the bathroom as well as your skin is left with the deliciously sweet aroma of candy floss and pear drops.

I love the scent of Snow Fairy but it is strong and sweet so may not appeal to everyone.  I would definitely suggest giving it a smell before buying but bare in mind the scent is a little more subtle when you are using it.

This shower gel is available in three different sizes from Lush:

  • 100g – £3.50
  • 250g – £6.85
  • 500g – £10.95

I was in lush the other day and nearly bought it but then smelled it and I really didn't like it. It is way too sweet for me! I ended up getting a few bath bombs instead 🙂

I have just got my little bottle of this out of my draw and just started to use it. I love it! I definitely agree with you saying that it is a scent that will only appeal to some, such a strong smell to it… bubblegum! Which may not suit to everyones tastes. Really love your blog x

Ah, I love Snow Fairy! Definitely not a scent for everyone, but it's one of my favourites 🙂
