GREED: What is your inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?
My most inexpensive would have to be Barry M or Essie nail polishes. I don’t have masses of different varnishes in my collection but I could quite easily buy loads of them, especially the pretty glitter polishes Barry M have at the moment.. they are gorgeous! Another inexpensive item are Lush bath bombs.. I have a bit of an addiction to those, oops!
My most expensive is my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation which I adore and my eyeshadow palettes by Chanel (the limited edition Christmas 2014 one which is stunning), the Urban Decay Naked 1 and Vice 2 Palettes and my MAC palettes. Another expensive item which I suppose isn’t strictly beauty but features on my blog a lot are candles. My favourites are by Laura Mercier, Jo Malone (the pomegranate one is amazing), Bubb and Dimples and of course Yankee Candle.
WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with? What product has been the hardest to get?
The item which I have a love hate relationship is the Maybelline the Falsies mascara. I first bought it because I gave into the hype going around the blogosphere and I was left disappointed because I found the product unreliable. Each time I used it I got a different result. Sometimes I would love it and other times I would find the formula to be very clumpy which left my lashes looking horrible. Since, I have discovered the best way to use this product is to wipe off the excess mascara before application.
GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?
This has definitely got to be YSL lipsticks and Dior Lip glosses. The packaging is just as beautiful as the product itself. I love the bright gold casing on YSL lipsticks with the delicate detailing in the middle showing off the brand name and a sneaky peak at the shade that is hidden inside. The Dior lip glosses always stand out to me on the display stands because the glitter against the silver and transparent casing looks gorgeous!
I also have to mention the Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille Soufflé here because it smells incredible and is a beautifully delicious moisturiser.
SLOTH: What beauty products do you neglect due to laziness?
This has got to be skin care products for my body. Since buying the Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille Souffle body cream I’ve been much better as I absolutely adore that product but if there’s one thing I neglect to do it will be this, usually due to tiredness or just simply not remembering!
PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
Two products fall into this category for me. Firstly is foundation because even though I haven’t got particularly bad skin if gives me a confidence boost that any imperfections are covered up and evens out my skin tone. I also find mascara improves my confidence because it opens up my eyes and makes me look more awake and ready to take on the day.
LUST: What products do you lust after?
This has got to be Tom Ford make-up. It looks stunning and I keep hearing amazing things about it but it’s just SO expensive!
ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?
– Tom Ford makeup
– YSL Lipstick
– Jo Malone Candles
– Laura Mercier skin or beauty items
