Hello There! Today’s post is an exciting one because it’s music related, something which I love. I’ve always enjoyed music whether I play it myself (in the past I played the flute, piano and sang) or listening to it. As I’ve got older I prefer the listening rather than the playing as I find it so interesting how it can completely change your mood. It doesn’t matter how bad your day has been if you pop on some pumping tunes you will soon find yourself relaxed and singing along. I also love how music is so closely related to memories and how just the first few bars of a song can produce a flood of memories coming back.
One of my favourite places to go in London when listening to music is the O2 Arena. I remember when this interesting venue was first built and was originally known as the Millennium Dome and since of course it has changed hands and is a great place to go and see your favourite artists. I love that it’s so big and open and without fail the atmosphere is always amazing.
The O2 offer a range of different shows ranging from bands to solo artists like the stunning and inspirational lady Kylie who will be taking to the stage between 29th Sept and 1st Oct this year. They also have award ceremonies like the Britz, comedians and sport events as the 20,000 capacity means they can hold the world’s biggest live events.
The venue also has parking which is very convenient as well as a range of bars and restaurants so you can even grab a bite to eat and drink before partying the night away whilst listening to your favourite stars perform on one of the most popular stages in London.
Have you been to any concerts at the O2 Arena?
