Charlotte Tilbury is a makeup brand that I only discovered last year but it has quickly become a favourite. So far all of the products I have tried have been a wonderful quality and although they are a little on the pricey side compared to highstreet equivalents they are worth every penny.
In today’s post I want to talk about the pretty Charlotte Tilbury blush called First Love which is part of the Cheek to Cheek Swish and Pop range. Inside the brown and rose gold compact hides a pretty dual toned blush which when combined leaves a beautiful natural shimmer to the cheeks. The center is a matte mid toned pink which is surrounded by a more subtle pink/peach which has a shimmer running through it. I’ve tried wearing both individually and combined, both of which are beautiful but more often or not I do the latter as it’s easier when rushing to apply my makeup before work in the morning. If you really wanted to the outer shade could also be used a highlighter whilst the middle shade could be applied as your blush.
The texture of this First Love blush (such an adorable name) is soft and dry which means it blends well onto my skin so I don’t get any harsh lines but it doesn’t melt away throughout the day which is perfect. I like my makeup to last as long as possible and this is definitely a product I can rely on for that. Due to it’s subtle tone it also goes with a variety of make up looks so is pretty versatile.
If you want to buy this beautiful blush you can purchase it from Selfridges for £30. The amount of product you get is generous and although I use mine regularly it’s barely even dented!
