Another year, another Lush wish list. Here I share with you what Lush products I have my eye on at the moment. But how will they compare to my favourites French Kiss Bath Bubble Bar, Snow Fairy Shower Gel and Butterball Bath Bomb?
1. Don’t Look at Me Fresh Face Mask | £7.50 per 75g
This bright blue face mask has caught my eye many times when I’ve been in Lush but I haven’t dared try it yet. It sounds dreamy though!
‘Don’t Look at Me’ is full of natural ingredients to moisturise, tone and exfoliate the skin. These include, nourishing murmur butter, zingy lemon juice, ground rice and syrup plus grapefruit oil. To apply, you simply smooth a layer of this vibrant blue mask over the skin and gently remove it after 10-15 minutes. To get the best results I clean my face with warm water first to open my pores, remove the face mask with a flannel, then finish with cold water to close my pores.
Lush face masks have never disappointed me so far and they are great value for money. If you apply this face mask 1-2 times a week it will easily last four weeks. Be sure to always store your face mask in the fridge though. This will ensure the natural ingredients stay as fresh as possible.
It’s about time I try this unusual face mask so it’s made it’s way onto my wish list.
2. Therapy Massage Bar | £6.75 per 50g
In the past I haven’t been a big fan of massage bars. I’ve tried one before and it was pretty messy so admittedly I was a little put off but one of my friends swears by them for dry skin so I’ve been persuaded to give them another try. The Therapy Massage Bar is 100% organic and contains a balanced blend of aerated cocoa and shea butters. These soften the skin. There are also three organic essential oils. Lavender balances the skin and relaxes the skin while Neroli oil improves the tone and texture. Sweet wild orange oil lifts the mood.
This sounds like the perfect combination to help combat that dry skin so is a must for my latest wish list.
3. Blousey Shampoo | £9.95 per 100g
The Winter weather is causing havoc with my hair and skin at the moment, even my favourite beauty products are failing me so i’m looking for some new alternatives to try and this moisturising shampoo is top of my list.
Blousey is deeply moisturising and hydrating thanks to the protein-rich bananas, cocoa and cupuacu butters. This combination sounds nourishing and i’m hoping they will help to restore moisture in my hair, leave it soft and promote a healthy shine.
This shampoo also contains pimento berry which aims to revive and protect hair as well as help you maintain an healthy scalp. This is thanks to the antiseptic properties.
The ideal shampoo needs to smells good, adds volume and shine and keep my hair healthy. Will Blousey be the one?
4. Think Pink Bath Bomb | £4.50 each
The first thing I noticed when I saw ‘Think Pink’ was the colour as it’s my favourite, but it has so much more to it than that. It has top notes of sunny caramel and luxurious vanilla which sounds delicious together. I can’t wait to take a closer look at this one in store… I really hope it smells as good as it sounds!
5. The Big Sleep Jelly Bomb | £4.95 each
Jelly bath bombs?! Wow I’ve really missed out on some things in the skin care world since i’ve been offline.. this sounds immense! Judging by the ingredients The Big Sleep this product will be true to it’s name and be great to use before bed. The mix of chamomile, lavender and tonka sound soothing and relaxing, a perfect balance before bed time. As i’m writing this I’m wishing I have one of these right now so I can jump in the bath!
Has anyone tried any of the beauty treats on my wish list? If so what did you think?
